Closer to 2050 than 2000

Happy 2025! Let’s start off the year with a short, quick post, and two simple truths that many people find hard to believe or swallow.

We are now closer to the year 2050 than the year 2000.

Like most of you, I was born in the 1900s, and early enough in that century to remember when the year 2000 was a long way into the future. If you feel the same, then also note that you’ve already lived through 25% of the 21st Century.
